Redesign is a sequence of decisions, not one large picture.

Every phase leaves a result that can be checked. Content, search visibility and useful features do not disappear between the first sketch and the live release.

Record the current state

I note public pages, core user paths, forms, dependencies and technical risks. This becomes the baseline rather than an assumption.

Keep / change / rebuild

Every part receives one decision: preserve, improve or rebuild. Each decision is tied to a reason and an expected change.

Prototype the real path

I test order and comprehension before visual polish. Core pages are checked on a phone before details spread to the whole site.

Build with the migration map

The new structure and 301 redirects are developed together. Titles, descriptions, semantics and structured data receive a final check.

Release and verify

I check live server responses, indexability, canonical URLs, forms and key layouts. Problems are corrected while the decision trail is still fresh.
